You ever notice that you feel full even long after you had your meal? Ever notice that your abdomen feels tighter than usual?
Well today let's go over some foods that will help you feel less bloated after eating. I know being bloated is uncomfortable and can make getting things done difficult.
Our bodies produce certain gases and experts have found that bananas deliver certain gut bacteria that can calm gas production.
Peppermint has been found to relax the muscles in our digestive system. Peppermint capsules and tea are both beneficial to help push gas to relieve stomach bloat.
Kefir, which is a fermented yogurt type beverage, relieves stomach gas upwards of 70% because it helps break down the sugar in milk that can lead to bloating and pain.
Avocados are tasty and loaded with potassium. Our bodies need potassium to manage sodium levels. Sodium controls hold much water our systems keep. The more efficient our sodium and potassium usage works, the less bloating we have.
Celery is crunchy and loaded with water. It gets our digestive system moving and provides flavonoids that reduce inflammation in our body.
Ginger also help increase digestion and helps our stomachs empty faster, therefore preventing bloating.
Turmeric has the compound curcumin that reduce IBS symptoms, easing discomfort, reducing bloating, and regulating the digestive system.
These are just some of the foods that will help with our gut health. If you have not used any of them, add them into your menu to help relieve bloating.
Make it a great day!
