Which one is more important to you?
Both have a place in our lives so it is a balancing act. Too much on either side and you can drastically effect the other.
For example, working 12-18 hours per day, 6-7 days per week in a high stress position with sporadic eating, drinking, and exercise may lead to decreased health. How? Stress is detrimental to our bodies and can cause health problems like anorexia, obesity, and high blood pressure to name a few. Working so hard for a worthy cause is great and being rewarded financially is also great. However, at what point is earning income far more important than health?
Take a few moments to consider and implement these into your life if you have not already:
-Plan your day in advance
-Complete your most difficult tasks when you are at your strongest/most energetic during the day
-Be aware of the food/drink you intake throughout the day
-Set financial goals with a clear and concise plan
-Sleep the appropriate amount of time for your full recovery
-Take care of your mental health through reading educational materials, meditation, and prayer
-Visit your physician regularly for check ups
