Welcome to a new day, a day that you have not seen before. Wow, this month flew by for me, how about you?
One of the things that I worked on is breathing this month. Not that I did not practice breathing daily, it has been a better effort on deeper breathing.
Deep breathing has been shown to ease stress and help regulate our moods. Here are ways to perform deep breathing.
A. Get into a comfortable position
B. Breathe in through your nose and let your belly fill
C. Exhale through your nose
D. Place your hand on your belly and the other on your chest
E. When you inhale, feel your belly rise, and as you exhale, feel your belly lower. Your hand on your chest should move less
F. Continue to breathe in and out in this manner for your set period of time. Plan how long you want to spend time in your breathing focus
You will notice that your mind may wonder. Make sure you take time to think positive thoughts. You can focus on stress relief by saying in your mind that your are breathing out stress. As you breathe in you can say in your mind you are breathing in abundance of peace. You must control your mind during this time to improve your success.
Please take your breathing seriously. I really focused on this during highly stressful periods of my life and it really helped me not lose myself and crumble under all the pressure, hurt, pain, and loss that faced.
Make it a great day!
