Everyday is a new opportunity to make changes that will lead to a stronger immune system. With all that is going on in our world, make sure you are doing things that will strengthen this vital part of your system! Below are ways that you can help yourself. There are many ways to accomplish this so stay tuned in for more!


Studies have shown that stress is not good for our bodies in large amounts. However, we need some stress in our lives in order for our bodies to perform at higher levels. Just think about the last workout you did. Remember how you were breathing harder than normal? That is a good stress because it is challenging your heart, lungs, and muscles to name a few.

One study showed that sexual health was important in the creation of higher levels of cold fighting substances. So, sexual activity is good in boosting your immune system. Of course, please make sure you have healthy practices.

People with healthy friendships tend to live longer than those with poor social ties. Here are a few ways to increase your social circle. You can join a special interest group, nurture the relationships you already have, and volunteer somewhere.

Depression hurts our bodies in many ways. Maintain a positive outlook on life because our bodies defense mechanisms work better.

Eat the rainbow. The colorful fruits and vegetables are full of antioxidants, which guard against free radicals, molecules that can harm your cells. Make sure you get a wide range from oranges, green peppers, broccoli, kiwi, strawberries, carrots, watermelon, papaya, leafy greens, and cantaloupe.

Pet owners have lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol levels, and healthier hearts. Having a pet makes a person more responsible and more likely to take care of themselves so they can take care of their pets.
