How are you enjoying this heatwave? It has been a very interesting 10 days, right? The weather has changed dramatically setting records highs. Please make sure you are taking care of your skin and keeping yourself hydrated. Dehydration will rob you of your energy and stop your progress towards your goals. It is the 7th month of 2018 and I know you have momentum moving you towards your goals. This is a great place to be. It is so hard to start, right? Now that you are moving forward, the tasks should be a bit easier. As you are going through your tasks I want you to keep these thoughts in your mind. -Move On- This is challenging at times, however if your daily experience is drudgery, then consider moving on to a different opportunity. You must use thought before making this move. You do not want to make an unproductive move. Dip deep within yourself to determine what your calling is and then plan out your next step. Make sure this step is a positive forward motion. -Unplug- There are many activities in your life such as social media, texts, facetime calls, and emails coming to you. Take a break and find a quiet spot for 15 minutes in the morning and in the afternoon to get away and capture some silence. It will give you a chance to regroup, regain your center before continuing with the work to be completed. -Measure Progress- When you are moving forward and do not feel the progress then you need to measure your progress. You can see your progress when you are driving and following GPS. You can do the same things in your life. Small victories must be acknowledged and celebrated just as huge/significant victories are. If you did really good this week on watching your calories and got all your exercise sessions completed, celebrate it. This is a way to pat yourself on the back for staying focused. Jumping on the scale says a number. Looking at what you put into your body and how much you exercised correctly, will effect the number on the scale. Embrace the journey because life is too short to waste your motions or lack purposeful forward movement. Make sure you have traction to roll forward with meaning and purpose.
